Susan Chambers

Susan Chambers makes gratitude beads, prayer beads and metal pendants, as well as traditional beaded necklaces and earrings.

The gratitude beads are made up of 21 to 23 beads and charms so that every day a person can count their blessings. The Celtic prayer beads are made in sections representing the four seasons with beads in each section representing earth's essential elements-earth, wind, fire, water, wood, and metal.

She is now creating metal pendants as necklaces.  Each piece is made from mostly scrap metal which she cuts, files, forges, and patinas by hand. She also enjoys working with Kazuri African ceramic pendants and creating mosaic folk art crosses. All of her art pieces are one of a kind.
